Just bought a car from Holmfirth Garage and experienced the best customer service I have ever had. Carl and Sean are excellent, honest, and really care about you as a customer. I have bought many cars but I have never had such as positive experience from start to finish. If you want a car go and have a look and buy with total confidence.

Recently bought a camper van from Holmfirth garage. The service provided was exceptional from start to finish. Shaun gave us his full attention when we were viewing and yes driving the van (and another that we ultimately didn’t purchase). He kept us updated with progress of the jobs he was doing to finish it off and the van was ready on the day agreed. He even picked me up from the train station when I came to collect. We’re very pleased with our van having taken it out a couple of times and would highly recommend Holmfirth Garage to anyone looking for a camper van

Shaun and his team assisted me with our first experience of a MOT for our 2008 VW Passat that was purchased 11 months ago in Poole. It was like meeting old mates for a chat. Took my car to Holmfirth Garage after I hit a pothole and it sent my ABS, TPS and traction control haywire with warning lights and crawl home mode. They put it on diagnostics, cleared the codes, put it on the ramps and checked for damage, none found. I went to pick the car up and guess what? No charge!! Holmfirth Garage are now my families go to garage for MOT, servicing and repairs. Highly recommended for both service and honesty.

I’ve used Holmfirth garage for the last few years for MOTs on my cars and I have found them to be both trustworthy and fair. I’ve known garages in the last that “find” work to do as part of the MOT process but I trust these guys based on my experience with them. Shaun & his team at Holmfirth Garage are amazing. Fair prices & great service. I've used them for a number of years, bought a car here, for services, repairs & MOT etc. They also go 'above and beyond' in my view. Just yesterday I called in a short notice & they fixed a rattle really quickly so that I had confidence to drive it without thinking something was going to fall off. I was putting air in my tired and snapped off the valve. I noticed this garage at the back so walked around to speak to them. i was on the way to a dentist appointment in dewsbury. I explained the situation and they put me first inline and fixed the tired. The guy here is an absolutley lovely guy and refused to accept any money from me. I have recently purchased a lovely Vauxhall Mokka from Sean at Holmfirth Garage, the service has been second to none. If you are looking for a new car/vehicle then you really should check them out. Sean is very professional, cares about his customers and makes sure that your new vehicle is fully prepared for when you collect it, Sean delivered my new car to me and it was greatly appreciated.

These guys are brilliant!! Took my electric mini 3 months out of bmw warranty with annoying noise on rear suspension - they sorted it within a few minutes on ramp and test drove it - thanks so much! BMW wanted £160 to “diagnose” the issue them further charge for repairs!! All it needed was a bit of lubricant!! I will continue using Sean and the guys to look after our cars

My son and I recently made a trip over from Oldham to Holmfirth Garage, for him to purchase a car. Sean, the owner, kindly stayed back till after 6pm to give us chance to finish work and travel over. Right from the offset, it became apparent to me that this isn't your usual run of the mill business. No pressure selling, no garbage sales chat, just down to earth honesty and openness. They were a few minor issues with the car, that needed attention, after all it was a used car that was being purchased, so this could only be expected. The issues were resolved efficiently and to a high standard. Despite my son's eagerness, Sean made it clear, that the hand over would not take place, until HE was 100% happy with the car That in my opinion, is what sets Sean high above any of the other car sales people I have dealt with. He doesn't want a quick sale, he appreciates the expense of purchasing a car, and wants to sell you a vehicle in the best condition it could be in. Then and only then will he ask you for your signature and payment. I'm not at all surprised that the workshop was full of cars being repaired, and the MOT Centre was busy, people obviously appreciate a good business when they find one. I can't praise Sean and his lads enough, what a superb service. Twenty years in business speaks volumes. Both my son and I would definitely recommend Holmfirth Garage, thank you to all involved.

The only garage we now use, it’s honest and trustworthy and we’ve never had an issue. We recently purchased a used vehicle from the garage in great condition too, any work needed to be done is to be completed on their behalf. After travelling to different garages with hard sales and clear faults I checked Holmfirth Garage daily for a car that fit us as I knew it would be perfect. Really can’t fault them!
